Rosslare Harbour’s history starts in the 19th century when Wexford Town was the main shipping port of the South East. Wexford Port was in decline due to the silting up of the estuary.
The lighthouses illustrated in this collection are located along the coastal routes of The Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland’s Ancient East.
Created in my studio on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean on the Seven Heads peninsula between the lighthouses of Galley Head and The Old Head of Kinsale on the South Coast of Ireland. Having visited quite a few of these gorgeous historic buildings myself you can bring some of the rugged romance of these gorgeous buildings into your home.
Printed on 290gsm heavyweight art paper with a sumptuous silk finish this print makes for a perfect gift. Each print in this collection of lighthouses comes with its own story and (some fun) facts included on an insert.
